Chocolate Caramel Mason Jar Trifle
1.5 servings (18 grams) cocoa-nut donut and salted caramel crunch powder
4 teaspoons liquid egg whites
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
5-6oz yogurt or non-dairy alternative of choice
2 tbsp whipped topping, like fat-free cool whip
vanilla extract or sweetener of choice
1 serving of Salted Caramel Powder
2-3 teaspoons water
In 2 separate mugs add around 1.5 servings (18 grams) cocoa-nut donut and salted caramel crunch powder
Mix each mug with around 4 teaspoons liquid egg whites and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder (should make a creamy batter almost like pudding)
Microwave about 20-30 secs. Mixture should rise and be spongy to touch. Let cool. Meanwhile, mix 1 container around 5-6oz yogurt or non-dairy alternative of choice with 2 tbsp whipped topping, like fat-free cool whip, add vanilla extract or sweetener of choice if desired.
In a separate small bowl, create Salted Caramel sauce by mixing a serving of Powder with a 2-3 teaspoons water to desired consistency for drizzling.
To assemble: cut cooled microwave cakes into thirds, place yogurt mouse in the bottom of the jar then alternate cake and mousse and caramel sauce, until the jar is filled.
Top with extra salted caramel sauce, because you can!
