Quick, Easy, Addicting: Halloween Crack Candy
Salty crackers, savory peanut butter, sweet chocolate– a classic combination to treat your tastebuds!
- 1 sleeve | saltine crackers (35)
1/2 cup | butter
1/2 cup | brown sugar
2 Tbsp | Chocolate Almond Bar Flavored Peanut Butter Powder
2 Tbsp | Plain Peanutty Flavored Peanut Butter Powder
1 cup | semi sweet chocolate chips
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2: Line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper and line the saltines up in rows.
Step 1: Melt the butter and brown sugar in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Boil 2-3 minutes stirring constantly, until thick.
Step 2: Pour the butter/brown sugar mixture over the saltines and spread with a rubber spatula.
Step 3: Mix flavored pb with water until smooth, and drizzle over the toffee layer.
Step 4: Bake at 350 degrees for 4-5 minutes, until browned and bubbly.
Step 5: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the chocolate chips.
Step 6: Let the chocolate chips sit for 5 minutes, then spread with a rubber spatula evenly across the saltines.
Step 7: Top the halloween crack with whatever you want! We used eye candies, halloween sprinkles, and reeces pieces.
Step 8: Place in fridge until chocolate is hardened, or at least 1-2 hours.
Step 9: Break into pieces and serve. Store any leftovers in a ziploc bag in the freezer.
